Weekly Rundown 8.10.08

What a great day to be back in church today at Rock Bridge Calhoun! We continue to have great crowds as school started back this week in both the city and county.
We are portable again after getting a break this summer with the school break. The guys that show up at 7 a.m. are incredible and go “the 2nd mile” every week!
Last Wednesday was our first ever 1st Wednesday service and we had a great time. It was great to hang out with some new families God has brought to us. I got to meet with one mom who recently starting attending and now has 4 generations of her family coming to RBCC. That is awesome!
Our student ministry will be kicking off our new ministry year next Sunday night from 6:30-8:30 in our new office space. We have a great group of students and I am looking forward to watching this ministry grow this year. They are pumped and ready to go!
Today we talked about “going to the second mile” I would love to hear your stories this week of how God has called you to be a domino in someone else’s life by going the 2nd mile.
